After a pleasant break in the sun the teams took to the court for the second game. The Scots had a lot to think about after their earlier exploits and came out with more purpose and drive. They started to find holes in the Lancs defence and were getting to the 6m line regularly. In defence they minimised the Lancs chances of using their power shooters and after an even first half were 7-6 in front.

The second half saw much the same pattern but with Sarah Carrick, Taylor Hoven and Judith Matheson finding their range the Scots pulled away. They needed some fine stops from Hollie Sneddon and Mags Matheson to keep them in the ascendancy but with Rachel McArthur and Michelle Smith scoring at important times the outcome was never in doubt and for a grand finale Scots skipper Smith scored a 30m goal with the last throw of the game to make the final score 17-11. Scots player of the day must go to Aimee Doyle who played most of the 2 games out of position but adapted quickly and created chance after chance for her team.
