Honours even in the BHA: Talent ID Regional Tournament

The latest BHA: Talent ID tournament took place on Saturday the 14^th April at the SportScotland National Centre Inverclyde. Unfortunately due to late call-offs only two teams took part with Lancashire making the long journey up to play the Scotland Youth Girls Handball Development Squad.

It was decided on the day to play 2 games with a break for lunch in between. In the end honours were even with both teams winning one game each

Big thanks must go to Donna Hankinson for refereeing and Mrs McArthur, Mrs Carrick, Mrs Sneddon and Mrs Hoven for their table duties also Mr Sneddon for his camera work.

All players on the day should be proud of their effort and commitment; these teams are evenly balanced and produce some fine Handball. It’s very encouraging to see such talented and skilful players at such an early age and both coaches, Donna Hankinson and Dennis Brown, must be congratulated for the quality of players they are producing.
